MODULE - FASHION DESIGN - CREATION

The most effective way to study fashion design.

A triple aim :

 To get a feel for fashion design: A practical initiation to creating fashion. The influences of fashion through history on modern fashion.
 To understand and evaluate each student’s creative ability varying exercises will be studied throughout the course week enabling the professors to give a preliminary analysis of each student’s aptitude in using general creative forms and different disciplines.
 In order to help guide the student in his/her choice of study in the fashion sector, the course terminates with a personal study of each individual’s aptitude and their motivating factors and advice in optimal career orientation.

Programme contents

The influences in fashion history on modern fashion, history of fashion. Fashion design workshop – initiation to the figurine of fashion. Workshop on different materials used – textiles – colours – materials – motifs. Pattern making workshop, volumes. Guided visits to creators’ boutiques. Workshop for clothes designing. “Fashion Trends” workshop. “Fashion Design” or “Pattern Making” workshops. Realization of an artistic exercise on an imposed subject, to be completed in a certain time limit. Individual interview to advise on career orientation

Candidates : The courses are open to all persons 16 and over.
Course duration : 4 days Tariff: 280 €* * A minimum of 8 candidates is required for the course to take place.
