BAC + 4 - EQUIVALENT MASTER 1 with J.F. Champollion University and Mod’Art International

Objective :

The aim of the programme is to enable designers to develop a strong sense of creativity taking into account the restrictions linked to its fabrication, manufacture and marketing (from luxury goods to mass marketing).

Career prospects :

This unique training is aimed at students wishing to work within the clothing and retail industries or to become creators of their own design label.

Admission requirements :

- Minimum 3 years higher education degree BAC + 3 in creation - Application dossier - Interview

Candidates suitable for this specific diploma course are:
- ESIMode students after completing the 3rd year of the formation ‘Créateur Design Mode’,
- Mod’Art International Art Création students (after the 3rd year of creation training),
- Graduate students from a fashion university or fashion college (BA minimum), whose profiles have been validated by ESIMode, Mod’Art International and the University of Perpignan.

Course duration: 1 year with a 6 month work experience

Course contents :

- Advanced Fashion Design : theoretical courses on manufacturing (management of quantities and production, pattern cutting, prototypes, suppliers, collection plan, technical drawing) and its application (training period report, the realization of a mini collection, the different stages of a model from its fabrication to its manufacture).

- Major Honours Collection: a study of the realization of a personal collection, a feasibility study of its production, to be presented to the board of examiners.

- Fashion Research Report: a dissertation on a personal subject concerning the creators and manufacturers of materials and garments. The study is to include the historical, sociological, economical and technical aspects.

- Fashion Collection Journal: the creation of a personal collection ‘scrapbook’ of fashion trends, summarizing the influences and the strong points of the style developed by the student.

- ESIMode or Mod’Art International students : 4 250 €
